By downloading, installing, or using the Plottie mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Plottie is a smart gardening companion app that provides:

• Plant identification and care recommendations
• Garden planning and scheduling tools
• Weather integration for gardening advice
• Care reminders and notifications
• Progress tracking and analytics
• Companion planting recommendations

User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use

Subscription Services

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription terms include:

• Automatic renewal unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Price changes with advance notice
• Cancellation through your device's app store settings
• Refunds subject to app store policies and applicable laws

User Content

You retain ownership of photos and data you upload. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your photos for plant identification purposes only
• Store your data to provide the services you request
• Use anonymised, aggregated data for app improvement

This license terminates when you delete your account or content.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Upload inappropriate, harmful, or copyrighted content
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Interfere with the App's operation or security
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the App to harass or harm others

Intellectual Property

The App and its content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• 100% accurate plant identification or recommendations
• Uninterrupted or error-free service availability
• Compatibility with all devices or operating systems
• Results from following our gardening recommendations
• That the App will meet your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
